Oper! Awards

A big night awaits. So dress to impress on the red carpet and give global stars a standing ovation. As tradition dictates, the annual Oper! Awards ceremony will be held at the world’s ‘Best Opera House’. And in 2025, that’s La Monnaie !

Do join us on 21 February 2025 to celebrate operatic excellence across different categories – including Best Male and Best Female Singer, Best Production, Best Solo Album and Best Orchestra of the Year – as their names are revealed to flamboyant drum rolls. Four of these internationally-acclaimed opera stars will perform gems from the repertoire, accompanied by the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, conducted by Alain Altinoglu. The programme also includes the overture to Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus, the ‘Ride of the Valkyries’ from Richard Wagner's Die Walküre, and the stirring ‘Va pensiero’ from Giuseppe Verdi’s Nabucco!
