In the Workshops

THE FIOCCO ROOM

Used for the rehearsals of the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra, the beautiful Fiocco Room is a large space with excellent acoustics. It can hold up to 300 people.

THE STUDIOS

Of varying sizes and situated on different floors of the building that houses the La Monnaie Workshops, the studios are used for auditions and rehearsals in small groups.

THE MUSEUM SPACE

An intimate space devoted to guided tours and educational visits to discover the history of La Monnaie. Here, you can admire the magnificent model of a baroque opera house, ‘The Dream Machines’, designed by Michel Dumont.

THE ALECHINSKY FOYER

Located at the entrance to the La Monnaie workshops, the Alechinsky Foyer is a convivial space with a bar, a private cloakroom, and a display screen, for all kinds of events.

PORTICI

This spacious meeting room is decorated with plaster mouldings and wood panelling. There is also a large print by Pierre Alechinsky to admire.

THE MALIBRAN ROOM

With a surface area of 555 m2, the Malibran Room contains technical equipment and fold-away seating. It can accommodate stage rehearsals of our operas as well as shows on a smaller scale.
