The Preparatory children’s choirs and La Monnaie's Children's and Youth Choirs
La Monnaie is keen to get children singing again. To that end, we have set up several preparatory children’s choirs in collaboration with a number of music academies in Flanders, Wallonia, and Brussels.
La Monnaie wishes to ensure the future of our Belgian vocal heritage, while also supporting young singers in the development of their voice and their singing career.
Each year, between June and September, La Monnaie organises auditions for its Children's and Youth Choirs, open to boys and girls age 10 and up.
