This year, cheesy pop songs and chocolats give way to a memorable celebration of love! For its Young Opera members, La Monnaie is holding a special, one-evening-only singing workshop where its experienced choir leaders and pianists will guide participants step by step through iconic arias from Carmen and from its new production I Grotteschi, based on Monteverdi operas. Divided into small groups, you will learn how to harmonize melodies, get and stay in rhythm and sing with expression and emotion, before coming together and shining in a glorious finale. We will also be raising a glass to love in all its facets at a convivial reception before and after the workshop. Couples and singles, proficient singers and shower virtuosos: everyone is welcome!
