From Friday 21 February, 10 pm, a strike by the NMBS/SNCB is likely to disrupt public transport from and to Brussels. Please take this into account if you are attending the Oper! Awards gala.
CloseStéphanie d'Oustrac is one of those rare opera singers whose vocal energy never ceases to impress. A specialist of the French and baroque repertoires, the mezzo-soprano has graced the stage of La Monnaie on several occasions, notably in Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice, Berlioz’s Béatrice et Bénédict and the world premiere of Mernier’s La dispute. This season, besides appearing as Costanza in I Grotteschi (Monteverdi) and performing the title role in Carmen, she will be sharing her expertise with students of the MM Academy – and you! – during this open masterclass.
