Claron McFadden, one of the most versatile female singers of her generation, has made it her life’s mission to connect people, genres and music traditions. She did this at La Monnaie in The Woman Who Walked into Doors (Defoort), Arthur (Purcell) and Shell Shock (Lens), and not least in the world première of The Time of Our Singing in 2021.
Soon she will again be taking on the role of Delia Daley, the unifying mother figure of the Strom family. But first, at this open masterclass, she will share the experience she has gained during an international career spanning more than three decades with the young singers of the MM Academy singers, the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and Equinox. A unique opportunity to explore with her the human voice and its endless possibilities!
