Let’s Zing Ensemble!

On the final day of the Fête de la Musique, Belgian National Orchestra, Bozar and La Monnaie present Let’s Zing Ensemble, an afternoon entirely devoted to choral singing. 

From 13:30 to 15:45 you can hear the Chœur Cassandra Choir at work during an extensive choir trail, packed with concerts and workshops. Highlight of the day is a grand collaborative singing concert at 16:30, for which ten composers wrote a song, drawing their inspiration from the city of Brussels. They represent different generations and styles, from classical to electronic. The repertoire thus reflects the enormous cultural and musical diversity of Brussels and challenges you to explore new musical horizons.

The new repertoire will be performed by the musicians of the Young Belgian Strings, members of the Belgian National Orchestra and the Orchestra Academy. The orchestrations were written by the renowned composer Dirk Brossé, who will conduct the concert together with Dirk Van de Moortel (artistic director Young Belgian Strings).
