The Children’s and Youth Choruses of La Monnaie will make you forget the winter cold with two concerts of Belgian music 

Early December. The sun plays hide and seek, the trees stand out against the grey sky with their leafless branches, and the darkest days of the year are coming closer ... Fortunately, there is enough to warm up our inner spirit during these wintry times too. The soft glow of a children's choir concert, for instance!  

That is what you can enjoy twice at La Monnaie on Saturday 7 December: at 11 am during a first concert by our Preparatory Children's Choruses and the Youth Chorus of La Monnaie; just after noon during a second performance by the Children's Chorus and the Youth Chorus. Both programmes will celebrate the beauty, freshness and diversity of Belgian choral music through works by Jean Absil, August De Boeck, Raymond Micha, Vic Nees and many others. An elixir of eternal youth concocted in Belgium.
