Inside the Music

In the 2022-23 season, we are launching Inside the Music: a series of encounters offering you insight in the music of the works on the La Monnaie programme. For each opera production, we invite a specialist who reveals the secrets of the score to you through an accessible analysis and live music excerpts. Afterwards, you can let everything sink in during a convivial reception in our theatre.

For the first meeting, about Tchaikovsky's Queen of Spades, we invite Victor Jacob, music assistant of the production, and pianist Nino Pavlenichvili. La Monnaie dramaturge Sébastien Herbecq will moderate the conversation.
