Add that extra sparkle to the most convivial time of the year: let yourself be captivated by an original Christmas concert performed by the La Monnaie Children’s and Youth Chorus. One hundred young singers bring a series of popular and traditional Christmas scenes to life, led by their regular choirmaster Benoît Giaux and joined by the soloists Maxime Melnik and Margaux de Valensart. A heart-warming medley of medieval choral pieces and British carols, traditional gems from Southern Europe, and great classics from this part of the world, as well as arrangements of songs by the French singer Tino Rossi and even a touch of jazz. All this in a single hour of harmonious hygge at the end of a winter’s day.
You can also discover this programme on the recently released CD A Christmas Journey.
