In this choreographic dialogue, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Noé Soulier bring their distinctive styles to an exploration rooted in the everyday workings of the human body. De Keersmaeker’s piece draws on the rhythms of breathing and walking, complemented by the heartbeats evoked by Salvatore Sciarrino’s pieces for flute. In Soulier’s contribution, dance becomes something organic: shared movement in which the dancers constantly reconfigure their mutual relations. In reinventing the collective, via the intimate, this meeting of  choreographers strikes a political chord.
