Green Opera

La Monnaie is going all out for a ‘Green Opera’! We are taking steps, big and small, to ensure that an awareness of both environment and climate is embedded in everything we do.

Join a special guided tour of the theatre and the ateliers in May or June 2020 and learn all about the opera house’s ecological footprint and what we are doing to reduce it. Like avoiding toxic chemicals in the products we use, working with eco-friendly materials and extending their life cycle.
