This season La Monnaie is combining Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s and librettist Lorenzo Da Ponte’s three Italian greats in a colossal Trilogia. The Clarac-Deloeil>le lab artistic team will present Le nozze di Figaro, Così fan tutte and Don Giovanni as three episodes in one and the same story – one large, contemporary comédie humaine in three parts.
In February and March 2020 a special guided tour at La Monnaie will explore Mozart’s life and work, his collaboration with his most important librettist and of course the large-scale new production which promises to be one of the highlights of the season.
Groups can book this guided tour throughout the months February and March 2020 (via guidedtours@lamonnaie.be).
If you’d like to know more about Mozart, his three most popular operas and La Monnaie’s amalgamating production, be sure to join the theme day ‘Trilogia Mozart Da Ponte’!
