The Russian bariton Alexander Vassiliev is a regular guest at La Monnaie for the Slavonic repertoire. In June, he takes up the roles of Skomorokh and Shipman in our new production of Rimsky-Korsakovs The Tale of Tsar Saltan. But first, on May 27, he shares his experience with four young singers of our MM Academy, during a public master class on Russian opera singing.
