On Octobre 25, La Monnaie organizes a debate, centered around the experience of imprisonment, the value of art and culture in this context and the challenges and perspectives of the Belgian prison system. Guest speakers are Vincent Spronck (director prison Vorst), Donia Surowiec (Chorus master of A bridge between two worlds in the prison of Leuven) and Jean-Marc Mahy (‘edu-actor’ and former prisoner). This event is free and open to everyone. The debate will be moderated by Mirjam Zomersztajn.
