La Monnaie turns orange to support the fight against violence against women.
On November 25th, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, La Monnaie shows its commitment to this cause by supporting the organisation Zonta.
In September and October, La Monnaie opens its doors for these two prestigious events, which showcase the heritage of Brussels in the firm belief that it’s essential to understand the city’s past in order to shape its future.
For this 36th edition of the Heritage Days, with as a central theme ‘New heritage - Brussels architecture from 1970 to 2000’, La Monnaie will welcome you on September 14th (10 am - 6 pm), for a series of free adapted guided tours of the Theatre.
Our house will also be taking part in the Brussels Neoclassic Biennale, which will highlight the capital’s neoclassical architectural heritage, by offering three days of guided tours: on September 30th (tours for people who learn Dutch and French as a foreign language and for audience members with disabilities), on October 5th (all audiences) and on October 6th (all audiences, with special care for people who are visually and hearing impaired).
