Principal horn Jean-Pierre Dassonville on Britten’s ‘Serenade’
Benjamin Britten’s Serenade for tenor, horn and strings has fascinated Jean-Pierre Dassonville since childhood and even provided the soundtrack to the birth of his first son. On May 17, our Principal horn will perform the work on stage at Bozar, partly on a natural horn.
