Fishy music
In Italy, France, Belgium and French-speaking parts of Switzerland and Canada, April Fool’s Day is known as the day for "April fish" pranks (poisson d’avril in French, aprilvis in Dutch or pesce d'aprile in Italian). One of them is attempting to attach a paper fish to the victim's back without them noticing. Bakeries and chocolatiers also honour this tradition by selling fish-shaped sweets. So, this month, we treat you to a fish-themed playlist with music by Schubert, Saint-Saëns, Debussy and many others, featuring a famous trout, a Czech fisherman, an aquarium and a couple of mermaids…
